Enerray at Solar PV Trade Mission Vietnam 2017
Enerray, represented by its Area Sales Manager Enzo Savelli (mail: firstname.lastname@example.org), will be present at the Vietnam Solar Energy Summit 2017, a solar exhibition that will take place from November 27th to December 1st in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
With the latest FiT in place – part of impactful new energy-related legislature – the Vietnamese Solar PV market is set for tremendous growth. After the successful first PV Trade Mission in 2016 with a group of early pioneers, the time is now right for all those that want to reap the benefits arising from the improved market conditions and the introduction of a real framework for development. As always, the bankability of the scheme remains an important challenge, but with positive outlooks on the available returns and current business environment, this market provides a wealth of opportunities for international developers, investors, IPPs, service providers, suppliers and manufacturers.
The revised National Master Plan for Power Development 2011-2020 outlined the need increase electrification, achieving energy security, energy efficiency, renewable energy development and power market liberalisation, but this has not been sufficient.
With the recent approval of Decision 11, solar energy projects are eligible for several incentives (loans, exemption from import duty, tax incentives, feed-in-tariff) that will make investments more attractive.
The national renewable energy levels are aimed to be increased to 7% in 2020 (850 MW of solar power) and above 10% (12,000 MW of solar power) in 2030.
Enerray has been able to secure strategic partneship in Vietnam to closely follow development and EPC opportunities in the PV market. Thanks to a consolidated network of local and international advisors and a growing pipeline of projects, Enerray has gained an extensive knowledge on technical and legal aspects of the market and today is ready to start construction activities.
