Enerray at Dii Egypt Conference and Workshop 2018

Enerray will partecipate at Dii Egypt Conference and Workshop 2018 that will take place in Old Cataract Sofitel Hotel, Aswan, Egypt on May 6th and 7h.

The conference, titled “Unlocking the 10 GW Renewable Market Potential”, will touch upon the key topics of renewable industry forecast for Egypt by investors, lenders and government officers.

BIO of Eng. Ghada Darwish
Eng. Ghada Darwish was graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the American University in Cairo with 17 years of experience in the private sector (running family business, PIZA Industrial Supplies Co.) representing international engineering companies, equipment suppliers and EPC contractors active in various industries (sugar, fertilizers, bio-fuels and renewable energy). Furthermore, Eng. Ghada Darwish has worked for more than 10 years taking part to projects in the fields of environmental protection, compliance & anti-corruption, entrepreneurship & gender issues, many of which funded by international donors. In the period 2013-16, she covered the position of National Communications Expert & Institutional Relationship and technical integrator within the project IMPROWARE (SWIM program), funded by the European Commission.
Ghada was Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Junior Business Association in the period 2013-2015 and board member in 2009-2015, and currently board member of Egyptian French Business Counsel, Benban Developers Association (32 developers of 1.4GW solar park in Aswan, Egypt) and Association of Egyptian Independent Power Producers, as well as other local and international business networks.
In 2009, Ghada was chosen by US State Dept. to represent Egypt at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Mentoring Program and was mentored by the VP of Exxon Mobil (Roberta Luxbacher and Lynne Lachenmyer).
She was also, awarded, for different achievements by the TOP50 Women Forum, the network of most influential 50 business women in the Egyptian economy for the year 2016.
In partnership with the Italian company Monzesi srl and Egyptian Ministry of Military Production, is developing a joint industrial project for production of top quality CNC Grinding machines in Egypt to serve Egyptian and African market.
In 2017 till present, Ghada joined SECI SPA/ Enerray (Gruppo Industriale Maccaferri) as a part time consultant for development and implementation of 3 solar power plants in Aswan partially owned and constructed by Enerray SPA of total capacity 100MW. Also, cooperating for development of Enerray business in Egypt.
