Enerray has contributed to the construction of two photovoltaic plants in the areas of Central Italy affected by the 2016 earthquake, donating two 20 kWp inverters (the core of every solar energy plant) to the not-for-profit organisation “Tutti insieme a Rovereto e Sant’Antonio Onlus“. The two plants were installed on the roofs of the multipurpose hall in Pretare (Province of Ascoli Piceno) and the Commercial, Social and Health Centre in Montegallo (Province of Ascoli Piceno), with the aim of covering the two buildings’ every-day energy consumption. The inauguration is planned for the second half of October.

In the areas affected by the earthquake, the Maccaferri Foundation had already shown its support by participating, together with other important partners, in the gathering of funds promoted by the Francesca Rava – N.P.H. Foundation Italia Onlus for the construction of a new school in Cascia (Province of Perugia) for primary and middle school children, inaugurated on June 6th, 2017.

The Maccaferri Foundation supports projects and initiatives in support of social and cultural processes that make disadvantaged people active and recognized members of the society in which they live, also promoting the development of their socialization skills, with particular attention to young people. In this perspective, the Maccaferri Foundation wants to progressively become more and more relevant in the system of public and private actors engaged in improving inclusion, participation and social equity.
