Enerray is the first italian O&M operator for PV plants

In the last three years, the high level of competition among the players has generated strong pressure on the prices offered by O&M companies, with an estimated decrease between 30 and 40%. As a result, this decline had a strong impact on the profitability of the many players involved in this sector.

This situation in the Italian market has generated a lower number of players, that, thanks to continuous investments in the sector, have been able to offer high quality and reliable services, strengthening the main aspects of O&M such as ordinary maintenance, monitoring, revamping and repowering, video surveillance and component care.

According to a research conducted by Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables, at the end of 2018 Enerray is the first O&M operator in Italy, with 600 MWp managed.

Aldo MorettiEnerray’s head of O&M Dept., states that “In Italy large photovoltaic plants will be on top again. Unlike what happened in the past when O&M was often neglected, today investors consider a priority to rely on capable operators able to guarantee quality services to protect the investment over time. In Enerray we are enhancing ordinary maintenance, a very important service that we manage with highly qualified team, innovative traceability and historicization systems that allow us to constantly monitor activities and PV plants. In this way we can reduce extraordinary maintenance activities by amortizing costs and keeping the plants on optimal standards “.
