Enerray begins its expansion project in Brazil

Enerray do Brasil, responsible for two works in the interior of Bahia, started its growth project in Brazil. About to deliver one of the works, forecast for April, the mills together will generate more than 350 GWp and an annual output is estimated at 700 GWh.

The increase in energy consumption that Brazil is facing in recent years is not being accompanied by the growth in the generation of energy from sources traditionally present in the country, among which the hydroelectric plant, which requires a diversification in the energy mix.
One of the possible solutions are photovoltaic systems, whose market, especially in countries like Brazil, the United States and Japan, is having a continuous increase, generating more than 2.8 million jobs in the world.

According to the Director of Enerray in Brazil Thomas Kraus, there is an abundance and availability of solar source in any point and locality of the country, allowing a greater use and generation of energy. “The energy produced by the photovoltaic system allows companies to reduce or even eliminate the costs incurred by the use of electricity from the grid. All additional costs are avoided such as TUSD (cost of electric power for resale and use of distribution network), rates etc. “completed Kraus.

The system is connected to the grid allowing to inject surplus energy generated and not consumed earning a power credit and still have a long life (25-30 years) with reduced maintenance due to lack of moving mechanical parts.

Enerray do Brasil, which has recently moved its facilities to a new office with its headquarters in the city of Jundiaí, 50 km from São Paulo, has all the infrastructure to meet the needs of companies across the country.

Enerray is part of the Maccaferri Industrial Group active in Brazil for over 40 years.
