Enerray celebrates its 10 years anniversary

Enerray’s cumulative total installed power will reach 800 MWp after the commissioning of the latest 250 MWp power plant under construction in Brasil.

Bologna, 15 February 2017. Enerray celebrates ten years of activity by scoring 130 million euro in revenues, so a 54% increase over the previous year.

Despite the drastic changes in the photovoltaics market and all the related difficulties, since 2007 Enerray has experienced a steady growth in both revenue and cumulative number of power plants installed worldwide.

Enerray continues its positive growth trend, confirming its leadership as a utility scale and industrial solar epc contractor. With 245 PV plants installed and a total installed capacity of over 550 MWp, Enerray more than doubled its numbers in comparison to 2015 and it is expected to reach the 800 MWp of total installed capacity through the forthcoming commissioning of a 250 MWp power plant located in Brazil and currently under construction.

“The contraction of the Italian market in the past few years has forced Enerray to increase its presence in the international marketplace. It was a difficult but successful process, and as of today we’ve already opened 13 offices worldwide – spread over the 5 continents – and more are still in the start-up phase” – says Gaetano Maccaferri, President of the Maccaferri Industrial Group.

“The impressive growth experienced by Enerray in the last decade shows as the Made in Italy is a brand for quality and international recognition not only in the traditional sectors, but also in the field of renewable energies” – emphasizes Michele Scandellari, CEO of Enerray. “We have an extremely flexible team that is able to address and solve problems in the most diverse countries. 2016 was a breakthrough year for the company, both for the consolidation of our leadership in the area of operation and maintenance of power plants in Italy, with over 500 MWp under management, and for the company expansion internationally. The power plant currently under construction in South America has enabled to become a leading player in the international marketplace”.
